Given that Coca-Cola is all about sharing happiness and good times, much like the universal passion for football, and with the World Cup on the horizon, we made the decision to join in the celebration with all Portuguese people. And when we say all, we mean it – even in the most remote corners of Portugal, like Corvo Island, which happens to be not only the closest to Brazil but also the smallest in all of the Azores.
Despite its mere 398 inhabitants and limited infrastructure, we were determined to capture the essence of the region along with the local fervor for the World Cup.
Our journey kicked off with a friendly game, featuring none other than the Azorean football legend, Pauleta, who wholeheartedly embraced this mission. Accompanied by a personalized Coca-Cola can for each resident of Corvo, it marked a fantastic beginning!
