At the time, Coca-Cola's campaign showcased the world through a different, positive lens. Inspired by this perspective, we pondered: Could the internet be perceived in a similarly unique way? In response, Coca-Cola embarked on a venture to present the internet like never before—by crafting a website in "tricot"!
To bring this idea to life, we enlisted two expert knitters who embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. Guided by the agency, they meticulously knitted the entire website, complete with buttons, form fields, and pop-up messages. This endeavor consumed over 60 wool hanks, equivalent to 10 kilometers of pure virgin wool, and required a total of 250 hours of dedicated work.
The result was a remarkable 4-meter-long panel adorned with dozens of buttons. This creation was then transported to the studio, where it was photographed and skillfully assembled by our team of programmers. In a departure from their usual keyboards and pixels, they embraced needles and stitches for the first time.
But the story didn't end there. The purpose of this unique website? To collaboratively create a colossal 42-meter-long canvas with the participation of every Coca-Cola fan.
